Author and Illustrator Ted Arnold

If you have ever been to the library and noticed a book with characters that have the biggest, roundest, bulging eyes, then you have seen a picture book by Tedd Arnold.  There are no other eyes like the ones Mr. Arnold creates! Tedd Arnold was born On January 20th, 1949.  He decided to write books because he was an artist for text books.  That lead to him illustrating children's books.  Also, his wife is a teacher. 

Tedd Arnold writes funny and goofy books. Some of his most popular books are Huggly, Fly Guy, Inside a Zoo in the City, Inside a Barn in the Country and Parts.  I like to read books by this author because they all have big boogly eyeballs and they are funny.  My favorite book by this author is Huggly Gets Dressed because it is really funny and goofy.  This author is special because his characters have big bulging eyes that are great!  So, next time you're at the library and you see a book with bulging eyes, you can bet that it will be by Tedd Arnold and that it will be fun to read!
