Author and Illustrator Lisa Campbell Ernst
by Mattheus
I'll write and I'll write with sweep and a swirl. You can read all about me. I am the author of the Gingerbread Girl! If you like a good rhyme, then you will like the author Lisa Campbell Ernst. She was born in 1957 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She writes books that are fantasy, fun and have great pictures.
Mrs. Ernst has written over 30 books for kids. I like to read her books because they are funny. My favorite book of this author is The Gingerbread Girl. She is special because she makes excellent pictures and the funniest fractured fairytales. Some of her other books are Sam Johnson and the Blue Ribbon, Stella Louella's Runaway Book, and Goldilocks Returns. So, if you are looking for a funny fractured fairytale, be sure to read a book by Lisa Campbell Ernst.
