Children's Book Author Laura Numeroff

Do you want to now who my favorite author is? It is Laura Numeroff. She was born in July 14, 1953. She grew up in Brooklyn, New York. My author writes books that are fantasy. She writes the If You Give a Mouse a Cookie series. In the beginning, she took a writing and illustrating class. Her mother was a teacher and her father was an artist. They both inspired the idea to write for children. Now she has written 30 books.  Some of the titles are If You Give a Pig a Pancake,  If You Give a Moose a Muffin, The Chicken Sisters, and If You Give a Cat a Cupcake, which is her latest book.

I like Laura Numeroff because she is an awsome writer and illustrator. My favorite book by her is If You Give a Cat a Cupcake. She is special because she writes "if then" books. Not only is she a good author, but her books have good pictures too.

Laura Numeroff says that she likes to speld time her friends. Her favorite movie is the Wizard of Oz. She also likes dinosaur bones at the museum. She loves girl scout cookies too. She didn't always want to be an author either. When she was younger she thought that she wanted to be a fashion designer.

If you want a favorite author, then get yourself a Laura Numeroff book. Soon you will want another and another. There better than cookies and cupcakes!
