Jon Scieszka was born on September 8th, 1954 in Flint, Michigan.  My author is interesting because he writes fractured fairytales.  Jon Scieszka decided to write books because he was a teacher his students inspired him.  This author has written many books including The True Story of the Three Little Pigs and The Stinky Cheese Man.  

Jon Scieszka is special becuase he can make people laugh.  I like to read his books because they make me laugh.  Jon Scieszka has a funny name but his books are even funnier.
