Children's Author Joanna Cole

Would you like to learn about the person who created Ms. Frizzle? Her name is Joanna Cole. She was born on August 11, 1944 in Newark, New Jersey. When she was younger her father gave her an article on cockroaches. The article inspired her to be a writer. She has written over 20 stories.

I like to read Joanna Cole's books because, I like the Magic School Bus. My favorite book she wrote is The Magic School Bus at the Waterworks.  Joanna Cole is special because her pictures are great!  You have to be a very good writer to come up with a character like Miss Frizzle.  Along with Magic School Bus books, my author also writes a lot of nonfiction science books.  So, if you're every looking for a good science picture book, try one by Joanna Cole.
