Tedd Arnold

Buzz, buzz, buzz, that is the sound of Fly Guy.  Do you wish you could swat that fly?  No Way!  Fly Guy is a superhero - Tedd Arnold's superhero!  Not only does Tedd Arnold like superheroes, he also likes big eyes in his illustrations.  You can tell a Tedd Arnold book by the big eyes.  

Tedd was born on January 20th, 1949 in New York, then lived on a farm in Pennsylvania and finally they moved to Gainesville, Florida. In Gainesville he started his life as an artist. But is was not until he was married his wife who is a teacher that he got the idea to write and illustrate books for children.

He has written and illustrated many books. One of his popular series is the Fly Guy books.  Fly Guy Meets Fly Girl is so funny!  He won the Theodore Geisel Award for Hi, Fly Guy.  My favorite book is Five Little Monsters.  He has also written The Huggly series.  One thing unique about Tedd Arnold is that he used to live in Tallahassee - my town!  If you live in Tallahassee, you should get some Tedd Arnold books.
