My favorite author is Joanna Cole.  She is my favorite author because she writes The Magic School Bus series. Joanna Cole was born on August 11, 1944 in Newark New Jersey.  She decided to write childrens books because she thought what she liked, kids would like.  She wrote How My Puppy Was Born, The Magic School Bus, and A Frog`s Body.  She writes books about science.  When I read The Magic School Bus I learned that even a little wind can blow small things.  The main character, Mrs.Frizzle, is very funny.  I also like Dorthy Ann because we both like pink.  So if you like funny science then read Joanna Cole`s books.
