Judy Sierra

     I'm going wild, simply wild, about a wonderful author named Judy Sierra! My author was born in Washington D.C. and grew up in Virginia. She grew up reading, writing, and making books. She even edited the newspaper in highschool. In college she decided to become a children's librarian so that she could tell stories and play with puppets.

     Now she likes to write in rhyme and even imitated the great Dr. Seuss with some of her stories. A few of the books she has written are Mind Your Manners B.B. Wolf, Wild About Books and Born to Read. My favorite book is Monster Goose because it is a wacky retelling of Mother Goose rhymes. Her next book is Tell the Truth, B.B. Wolf. Right now Judy is working on a chapter book about a boy who has lots of adventures. "Whether young or old, human or animal, from this country or others, Judy Sierra can take us on a journey with words that roll off our tongues."
