Pamela Curtis Swallow

     This author knows how to give animals a say! Pamela Curtis Swallow wrote her famous book Groundhog Get's a Say after she rescued a baby groundhog that was living on her back porch. Before she wrote Groundhog Get's a Say, Pamela liked animals and nature. She was a tomboy growing up and spent much of her time riding ponies and horses. She lived in the country and her family went on lots of camping trips.

     Once she grew up, she became a school librarian. Then she became an author. She has written books for teens and children. Now she writes books and does author visits full time. Some of her books are It Only Looks Easy, Leave it to Christy and the Melvil and Dewey Series.
